When we talked about PUTIEN, first came to Singaporeans’ mind will be the restaurant.
Putian or Putien, also known as Puyang and Puxian, historically known as Xinghua or Hing Hwa, is a prefecture-level city in eastern Fujian province, China.
I personally love food from our Singapore PUTIEN Restaurants. . PUTIEN serves cuisine from the Fujian Province in China which is light, down-to-earth, and flavourful food with an emphasis on fresh ingredients. I will usually go there when where is a special occasion like my father-in-law’s birthday.
I still missed the food on normal days, but I do not have the extra cash to enjoy the food, luckily I came across this PUTIEN Xiao Chu at Jem shopping Centre foodcourt at level 5.
It served my favourite Lor Mee and it tasted almost similar to the PUTIEN restaurant.
I always eat it with chilli 2 plates of chilli in it.
My wife loves the Mee Sua which is wet.
I will give the food and service a 3.5 out of 5 stars. It cannot be really compare to the PUTIEN restaurants, but it’s a good replacement when you are not feeling so rich. Try it out if you are Jem, Jurong East.
